CLUTCH: 'Full Fathom Five' E-Card Available
July 29, 2008Maryland rockers CLUTCH will release their first-ever live DVD, "Full Fathom Five: Video Field Recordings", on August 12 via the group's newly launched Weathermaker Music label. The band will also release a live companion CD, "Full Fathom Five: Audio Field Recordings", on the same day. All tracks on the DVD and CD were recorded and filmed in late 2007 and early 2008 in New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Denver and Australia.
The band has launched an e-card where you can sample video and audio from the two releases. The releases will be available on tour and exclusively at Merch.com.
The "Full Fathom Five: Video Field Recordings" DVD features 20 songs PLUS bonus features, and the audio CD contains 15 songs. "Texan Book of the Dead" is the first single and video to be released.
After a late summer European tour, CLUTCH will embark on a U.S. headlining trek with THE SWORD and GRAVEYARD from September 15 to October 9.
CLUTCH recently hired industry veteran Jon Nardachone to oversee the Weathermaker Music label. As label manager, he will run day-to-day operations out of the Weehawken, New Jersey office of The Syndicate, whom Weathermaker has brought in to promote and market "Full Fathom Five".
Weathermaker Music and CLUTCH will team up with Merch.com for the August 12 release of the "Full Fathom Five" DVD and CD. Merch.com and all CLUTCH-related web sites will have excusive rights to all mail-order products involving "Full Fathom Five". The band will also be selling these items on the road and in certain retail locations.
CLUTCH's video for the song "Electric Worry", filmed at the historic Maryland Theatre in Hagerstown, MD, is available for viewing at YouTube. The track comes off the group's latest album, "From Beale Street to Oblivion", which came out on March 27, 2007 through DRT Entertainment.
THE BAKERTON GROUP — CLUTCH's psychedelic jazz/rock alter ego — will play its first-ever headlining show on October 10 in Hollywood, California.
